The mushroom parachutes are made from four gores forming a parachute that looks somewhat like a mushroom when open. These parachutes are compact and are great for those rockets with small parachute compartments. They also make great drogue chutes. The following sizes are available: 18 in, 24 in, 30 in, and 36 in.

Mushroom parachutes are measured along the entire inseam, up one side and down the other.

We offer two different styles of parachutes in a variety of colors. All parachutes are made from ripstop nylon with nylon cord for the suspension lines.

The hemispherical parachute is a true hemisphere made from 12 gores. These parachutes are great for large and heavy rockets. They are available in the following sizes: 18in, 24in, and 36in. Custom sizes are available, check out the “Custom Parachutes” page for more information.
